As one of the largest OHT’s in the province we serve close to 900,000 people. Family Doctor,
Nurse Practitioner or Walk-In Clinic
See your Family Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, or Walk-In Clinic for non-emergency issues such as:
- Common illnesses such as cold, flu, or COVID-like symptoms
- Skin conditions or minor injuries such as sprains and strains
- Urinary tract infections, unexplained changes in weight, or energy level
- Annual physicals, prescription refills, and vaccinations
- Long-term health care management for illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and arthritis
- Other non-life-threatening conditions/injuries
Please ask Walk-In Clinic to share care details with your family doctor.

Soins urgents virtuels
The Regional Virtual Urgent Care Clinic is available to residents who require timely access to a nurse practitioner that can be addressed virtually.
This is right for you if:
- Your medical condition/injury is non-life-threatening
- You are unable to get a timely appointment with your family doctor/do not have a family doctor
- No health card is required
- Online appointment booking available in English, French, Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Urdu, and Italian

Urgent Care Centre
Peel Memorial
Use the Urgent Care Centre for non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries:
- Sprains, strains, or broken bones
- Cuts that might need stitches
- Allergic reactions or skin rashes
- Earaches or eye injuries
- Asthma attacks
- Infections
- Minor burns
- Nose and throat complaints

Emergency Departments
Brampton Civic or Etobicoke General
Go to an Emergency Department for medical emergencies and serious injuries or conditions:
- Chest pain or abdominal pain
- Shortness of breath
- Pregnancy-related emergencies
- Internal bleeding
- Numbness or weakness in arms or hands
- Major trauma
- Mental health issues
- Injuries or illnesses of infants six months of age and younger
- Seizures or stroke symptoms
If you are unsure about your symptoms, go to the nearest emergency department or call 9-1-1.
